BIPO is On Tour Again!

The Borusan Philharmonic Orchestra will embark on a tour of the United Kingdom from April 4 to 11, 2025.

BIPO, last seen on a European tour in 2018, will embark on a highly anticipated tour of the United Kingdom from April 4 to 11, 2025. This time BIPO is set to tour the United Kingdom, performing in five cities over five days across Perth, Edinburgh, London, Guildford, and Sheffield.

The tour will commence on April 5 at Perth Concert Hall in Perth, Scotland. As part of this tour, BIPO will be performing in the United Kingdom for the first time, taking the stage at major concert halls in Perth, Edinburgh, London, Guildford, and Sheffield with an exceptional repertoire. Under the direction of Carlo Tenan, artistic director, and principal conductor of BIPO, the orchestra will be joined by renowned cellist, Pablo Ferrández, widely acclaimed for his technical mastery and profound musical expression.

The concert schedule is as follows:

• Saturday, April 5 - 7.30 PM | Perth Concert Hall, Perth (Scotland)
• Sunday, April 6 - 3.00 PM |Usher Hall, Edinburgh (Scotland)
• Tuesday, April 8 - 7.30 PM | Cadogan Hall, London (England)
• Wednesday, April 9 - 7.30 PM | G Live, Guildford (England)
• Thursday, April 10 - 7.00 PM | Sheffield City Hall, Sheffield (England)

The programme for all five concerts includes Schubert’s Symphony no.8 “Unfinished”, Saint-Saëns’s Cello Concerto no.1, and Beethoven’s Symphony no.6 “Pastoral”. Additionally, in London and Sheffield, audiences will have the opportunity to hear Ferit Tüzün’s Nasreddin Hoca “Humoresque” as part of the programme.
