Programme Announcement: Nova Muzak #39, #40 and International Jazz Day Concerts
At Borusan Music House, we are excited to reveal the artists for previously announced Nova Muzak #39, #40 and our International Jazz Day concerts.
On April 30, as part of the International Jazz Day celebrations, we will host أحمد [Ahmed], an ensemble dedicated to reviving the music of Ahmed Abdul-Malik. This special concert will also be broadcast live on Joy Jazz and Borusan Klasik radio stations.
As part of the 39th Nova Muzak series, organized in collaboration with Kod Music, we will welcome Senyawa, a group performing contemporary Indonesian music, along with Japanese vocalist and satsuma-biwa artist Junko Ueda on the evening of February 21. Following this, PoiL Ueda, a collaboration between the French rock/contemporary music group PoiL and Junko Ueda, will take the stage.
At the 40th Nova Muzak series, Borusan Music House will host two consecutive performances by outstanding groups. The first is Rafael Toral, one of the leading figures in ambient music, who has deeply engaged with rock, contemporary, electronic, and free jazz genres at different stages of his life. The second is hackedepicciotto, the collaborative project of Alexander Hacke and Danielle de Picciotto. Combining cinematic drone, industrial, experimental, and spoken word styles, the duo will bring their unique sound to Borusan Music House on May 10.
Detailed information about the concerts can be found on our mobile app, and tickets are available through Passo sales points.
