The guests of BIPO’s February concert are Ludovic Morlot, who is well-known to music lovers as the music director and conductor of the USA’s famous Seattle Symphony Orchestra with which he has won five Grammy awards, and Alena Baeva, the violin virtuoso described as “a constantly fascinating master of sound.” Baeva, who is currently experiencing the height of her productivity and career with her mastery of romantic and modern period repertoires, her concert performances, and her album recordings, will be in İstanbul immediately after her recital with Vadim Kolodenko in Turin, Italy.
