A MUSICAL FAIRY TALE FOR CHILDREN

In undoubtedly one of the most anticipated concerts of the season, BIPO breaks new ground by sharing the stage with The Per Poc Puppet Company. The manifesto of Per Poc, which has gained worldwide fame with its productions, is “presenting a different way to bring symphonic music to new audiences.” Per Poc creates their special poetry by combining performing arts, visual arts, music and dance. The ensemble’s shows, accompanied by the music of Britten, Stravinsky and de Falla, have been co-produced with the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Radio France and Orchestra National de Lille. Their shows feature the artists they collaborate with as much as the inspirational unison of music and fairy tales. For this concert, The Per Poc Puppet Company will perform Prokofiev’s symphonic tale “Peter and the Wolf”, which has fascinated adults as well as the little ones since its first performance, with BIPO under the baton of well-known conductor Francisco Valero-Terribas, described as a maestro that is “elegant, delicate, expressive and natural.”
