In this concert, conducted by its artistic director and principal conductor Carlo Tenan, we will have the privilege of hearing the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra perform Gustav Mahler’s Symphony no.5. Mahler, whose symphonies are considered masterpieces of the orchestral repertoire, left a lasting impact not only his own era but on the entire course of music history.
