The second BIPO concert of the new season, which will meet its audience in October of 2023, is a parade of stars in terms of both its programme and guest soloists. We will listen to a selection of Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Mozart, and Bach’s works from estimable young musicians, each of whom has become a star in their own field. The pianists who will be on stage at the concert are Can Çakmur, who is well-known for his award-winning recordings and being the winner of two of Europe’s leading piano competitions; Eda Seviniş, winner of the 2021 Schumann Piano Competition; Korkmaz Can Sağlam, recipient of the 2022 Vendome Award; and Emir İlgen, the third prize winner of the 2023 Aarhus Piano Competition. At the concert, we will also have the opportunity to watch Dorukhan Doruk, the 1st solo cellist of the prestigious orchestra Tonhalle Düsseldorf and violin soloist Naz İrem Türkmen, winner of the 2019 Grumiaux Violin Competition. Another violinist of the night anticipated with excitement and pride is Veriko Tchumburidze, the winner of the 2016 Henryk Wieniawski Competition, who has so far had a busy year with an extremely successful European tour.
