Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (BIPO) will open this season with a masterpiece that combines orchestra and human voice. Soprano Hélène Walter, who radiates an international journey, gracing illustrious venues such as the Müpa in Budapest, Palau de la musica Barcelona, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées and Musikverein Wien, conducted by Martin Haselböck, François-Xavier Roth, Pierre Bleuse, Lucie Leguay and Corrado Rovaris, is active on opera stages and concert halls alike. Walter, whose talent, musicality, and stage maturity have been praised by critics, invites BIPO’s audiences to the first concert of a magnificent season with Gustav Mahler's 4th Symphony. The opening concert’s programme of the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by its artistic director and principal conductor Carlo Tenan, will also include Suite for Orchestra by Ahmed Adnan Saygun and Symphony no.4 by Felix Mendelssohn.
