BIPO will close this season with a magnificent concert bringing three stars together. Two of the successful young generation artists of Turkey, composer Zeynep Gedizlioğlu and conductor Nisan Ak, will meet with Chinese-American pianist Zhang Zuo, more commonly known as Zee Zee to music lovers, in the world premiere of Gedizlioğlu’s new work commissioned by the Borusan İstanbul Philharmonic Orchestra. Zee Zee made a bestselling album with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Paavo Järvi in 2022. Known for performing the works of Wagner, Liszt, Ravel, Schönberg and Poulenc, Zee Zee is highly appreciated for her command of the turn-of-the-century repertoire. Zeynep Gedizlioğlu, who has been the shining star of her generation since her first works after completing her education with composition master in Turkey and Europe, entrusts the premiere of her music written for the Borusan İstanbul Philharmonic Orchestra to another source of national pride, the talented conductor Nisan Ak, who has established an equally positive connection with both the orchestra and the audience.
