50 YEARS OF SERGE MODULAR

A concert where analog sounds will resonate at Borusan Music House and we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Serge Modular... Thomas Ankersmit, who is a musician and sound artist based in Berlin and Amsterdam, will bring the analog sounds coming from the Serge Modular synthesizer to the audience.

Acoustic phenomena such as infrasound and otoacoustic emissions play an important role in his work, as does a deliberate, creative misuse of the equipment. He combines intricate sonic detail and raw electric power, with a very physical and spatial experience of sound and builds an experimental musical world.
