Apostolos Sideris is at Borusan Music House with his project called Summation!
Sideris is a composer and bassist known for his interest in different musical genres. He has worked in New York with jazz masters such as guitarists Lionel Loueke and Rez Abbasi, saxophonist Seamus Blake and pianist Leo Genovese, and shared the stage with Ziad Rahbani, Savina Yannatou and Ara Dinkjian. Sideris settled in Istanbul in 2013 and co-founded the Ethnic-Jazz group Mesel. He also has solo work based on Anatolian and Middle Eastern melodies. Sideris’ 2019 album Summation brings together jazz and Mediterranean music and represents his world of music and the world-jazz concept through his compositions and improvisation. A synthesis of music created by the composer through his numerous collaborations with leading jazz artists and famous musicians from Greece, the Middle East and Latin America awaits the audience at Borusan Music House.
