Borusan Music House is launching its new season with Berke Can Özcan’s latest album Twin Rocks. This concert will be the album’s debut live performance, following its release in November last year. Musicians from across the globe will take part: Norwegian trumpet master Arve Henriksen, baritone saxophonist Jonah Parzen-Johnson from Brooklyn, Cologne-based pianist Ozan Tekin, and bassist Ozan Kısaparmak from Istanbul will be accompanying Berke Can Özcan, who will be arriving from Abu Dhabi.

Arve Henriksen has produced different projects with many artists and performed for his audience. He has developed an authentic understanding by performing with a wide array of improvisation ensembles from koto artist Satsuki Odamura to rock band Motorpsycho, Sten Sandell, Peter Friis-Nilsen, Lotte Anker, Hasse Poulsen, Terje Isungset, Benoît Delbecq, Steve Arguelles, Lars Juul and Marc Ducret. He is also a founding member of the legendary improvisational music group Supersilent.

Jonah Parzen-Johnson’s solo performances are a deeply intimate experience, as he endeavours to share who he is, how he sees our world, and the temporary moments of community where we can all embrace together. You might find him at Jazz festivals in Berlin, Helsinki & Seattle, concert halls in Istanbul & Bruges, rock clubs in Rotterdam, Montreal & Rome, or Jazz clubs in New York & Chicago.
