In this very special concert, BIPO presents the works of Ulvi Cemal Erkin, one of the masters known as the Turkish Five, the first-generation composers of the Republic that pioneered polyphonic music in our country. On the 50th anniversary of the composer’s passing, this concert in which piano and violin concertos will be performed will end with his much-loved 1st Symphony. In this concert commemorating Elkin on the 50th anniversary of his passing, the composer’s piano and violin concertos will be performed, concluding with his much-loved 1st Symphony. The soloists of this concert in tribute to Ulvi Cemal Erkin are violinist Elvin Hoxha Ganiyev and one of our countries outstanding pianists, Gökhan Aybulus.
