BIPO & MANUEL BLANCO

BIPO welcomes the arrival of spring with a programme of carefully selected works. Emilia Hoving will conduct BIPO in the concert, where we will have the opportunity to listen to Manuel Blanco, the trumpet soloist of the Spanish National Orchestra, who has given concerts with the orchestras of Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Milan La Scala and Roma Santa Cecilia and has won many prestigious competitions both in his country and internationally. Hoving is one of the fastest rising talents in the conducting scene. She studied at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and since then has already been invited back to conduct orchestras of the calibre of Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, L’Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and Philharmonia Orchestra.
