Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra will close 2024 by welcoming one of the most brilliant pianists of our time. Marco Vergini, celebrated at some of most prestigious international piano competitions including “Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli” in Foligno, “A. Scriabin” in Grosseto, and “A. Casagrande” in Terni, has earned acclaim not only in Italy, but also on stages such as the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, Carnegie Hall in New York, Reinberger Chamber Hall in Cleveland, Le Reflet Théâtre de Vevey, and the UDK Konzertsaal in Berlin. Accompanying Vergini in Maurice Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major, BIPO will complete the programme with Ottorino Respighi’s Le Fontane di Roma and Robert Schumann’s First Symphony.
